During the February 25th EPIC Forum, Powering Resilient Communities through Advanced Energy Technologies, attendees heard from energy policy experts, leaders in the technology sector, and EPIC awardees on the emerging blueprint for strengthening community resilience. The day began with welcoming remarks from California Energy Commission Vice Chair Janea A. Scott and continued with an exploration of advancements in clean energy solutions.

Attendees had a chance to attend breakout sessions focused on the commercial uses for forest biomass, the utilization of big data in predicting threats and vulnerabilities to the electricity system, and the application of clean energy technologies to maintain power and enhance community resilience. The Forum created an opportunity for attendees to connect with each other, EPIC awardees, and sponsors to advance the collaboration needed to build a more resilient future for California.
